7 DIAL TIMER Press DIAL TIMER. The channel number or station ID (SLV-N80 only) appears in the display window. VIDEO APC EP 8 DIAL TIMER Turn DIAL TIMER to set the channel number. To record from a source connected to the LINE-1 IN or LINE-2 IN jacks, turn DIAL TIMER or press INPUT SELECT to display "L1" or "L2". INPUT SELECT If the CABLE BOX CONTROL setting is ON, you can change the channel number in units of 100 by pressing the CHANNEL +/- buttons (SLV-N80 only). VIDEO APC EP 9 DIAL TIMER Press DIAL TIMER to complete the setting. "OK" appears in the display window for about five seconds. The indicator appears in the display window and the VCR stands by for recording. When using a cable box, leave it on. To return to the previous step To return to the previous step, press the CHANNEL + and - buttons on the VCR at the same time during any of the Dial Timer settings. To stop recording To stop the VCR while recording, press x STOP. To use the VCR after setting the timer To use the VCR before a timer recording begins, just press ?/1. The indicator disappears from the display window and the VCR switches on. Remember to press ?/1 to reset the VCR to the timer recording standby mode after using the VCR. Recording TV programs using the Dial Timer

To return to the previous step, press the CHANNEL + and – buttons on the VCR at
the same time during any of the Dial Timer settings.
To stop recording
To stop the VCR while recording, press

To use the VCR after setting the timer
To use the VCR before a timer recording begins, just press

Turn DIAL TIMER to set the channel number.
