Recalling Values To recall a value that you have entered or computed, press s and the appropriate key for the value you want to recall. For example, to recall the present value, press s K. Performing Compound Interest Calculations To perform a compound interest calculation, you must know any three of the four values (N, %i, PV, or FV). Follow these steps to find the unknown value: 1. Press 0 b to clear the registers and use 2 to enter the financial mode (FIN appears in the display). 2. Enter the three known values (N, %i, PV, or FV). 3. Press 1 and the key for the unknown value. For compound interest calculations, the payment (PMT) must be zero. This value is set automatically when you press 2 to enter the financial mode or when you clear the financial registers. 17
