Introduction Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Connecting an A/V receiver If you have a system with Dolby Pro Logic* surround sound, using the TV speakers as center channel speakers will add to the realism of the sound. You will need: • one pair of audio cables • one video cable • one audio cable for the audio center channel To A/V receiver Video TV out in Center From out Antenna AUDIO CENTER CHANNEL IN ANT( 75 ) ANT-1 S-VIDEO ON OFF OUT OUT R L VAR AUDIO ANT-2 Y VIDEO L/ MONO CB L AUDIO R AUDIO CR COLOR R VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 STREAM INPUT IN DVD IN VIDEO L/ MONO AUDIO R OUT ON OFF Connection example of Dolby Pro Logic surround sound system: VCR Audio Video Video Audio LDP/DVD Caution: To avoid damaging the speakers, turn the TV off before connecting or disconnecting the Audio Center Channel IN audio cable. Note: Refer to the instructions provided with your external A/V receiver for surround sound system details. When the Audio Center Channel ON/OFF switch is in the ON position, the TV speakers will function only as the center channel speakers. Adjust the volume for the center channel speakers using the center level control on the A/V receiver. To use the TV speakers as normal speakers, set the Audio Center Channel ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
