130 Mobile Computing Changing the main battery 6 Slide the battery release latch to the unlocked position while lifting up on the battery pack to remove the discharged battery out of the computer. Sample removing the discharged battery pack If the battery is leaking or its case is cracked, put on protective gloves to handle it, and discard it immediately following the advice in "Disposing of used batteries" on page 134.
