CONNECTIONS PAGE 13 Connecting to a TV equipped with component video inputs PROGRESSIVE SCAN: Some TVs or monitors are equipped with component video inputs that are capable of reproducing a progressively scanned video signal. Connecting to these inputs allows you to view the highest quality pictures with less flicker. COMPONENT VIDEO OUT: Some TVs or monitors are equipped with component video inputs. Connecting to these inputs allows you to enjoy higher quality picture playback. I To switch the output signal (Progressive/Component) Set the Progressive Scan to "On" on the SETUP menu for Progressive scan signal, or set the Progressive Scan to "Off" on the SETUP menu for Component video signal. VIDEO OUTPUT SELECT switch Video cable (Y, PB, PR) (not supplied) To AUDIO OUT (L/R) To COMPONENT VIDEO OUT/ PROGRESSIVE SCAN (Y, PB, PR) When using COMPONENT VIDEO OUT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN (I/P) jack, set the VIDEO OUTPUT SELECT switch to COMPONENT(PROGRESSIVE SCAN).
