Using the Menus Basic Menu Operation ♦♦The phone exits the menu after 30 seconds if no keys are pressed. ♦♦Use Phonebook during a call to back out of a menu without hanging up. Press MENU/SELECT to open the menu. Handset Setup Ans. Setup Press PHONEBOOK to go back a screen OR Press MENU/SELECT to choose the current option. Handset Setup T-Hcaonidlset Setup Use UP and DOWN to rotate through the Ringer HTaondeset Setup options. Personal Ring press END on the handset or PLAY/STOP on the base to exit the menu. Menu Functions Base Setup Menu Use the Base Setup menu to select the base display language and to turn the base's key touch tone on and off. Handset Setup Menu You can change these settings separately for each handset. Menu Option What it does T-Coil Turn on the telecoil (T-coil) feature (see page 21). Ringer Tones Choose this handset's ring tone. As you highlight each ring tone, the phone plays a sample. When you hear the tone you want, press Menu/select. Personal Ring Turn on personal ring so you can assign a special ring tone to people in your phonebook. With Caller ID, this handset uses the assigned tone when the person calls. AutoTalk Have this handset answer a call when you pick it up from the cradle (without pressing any buttons). Any Key Answer Have this handset andset a call whenyou press any key on the 12-key dialpad. Banner Change the name used on the handset's display. Handset Language Change the display language.
