MENU ITEM Ka Band Laser Ka POP K Filter Ka Filter TSF K Narrow/ Wide Ka Narrow/ Wide Priority Mute Mem WHAT IT DOES SETTINGS Turn off to have the detector ignore Ka Band frequencies. On (Default) Off Turn off to have the detector ignore lasers. On (Default) Off Detects Ka POP transmissions On (very brief transmissions, too fast Off (Default) for some detectors to hear). Filters noise from the K band to On (Default) prevent false detections. Off Filters noise from the Ka band to On prevent false detections. Off (Default) Traffic Sensor Filter. Prevents false alarms caused by traffic monitoring radar systems. On Off (Default) K Narrow scans for K radar guns used in the US only and reduces false alarms. K Narrow K Wide (Default) Ka Narrow scans for Ka radar guns Ka Narrow (Default) used in the US only and reduces Ka Wide false alarms. Ka Wide scans Super Wide Ka band. Sets whether Ka band signals have Signal priority over the strongest radar Ka (Default) signals for X, K, or Ka band. Laser alerts have priority over radar alerts. The DFR9 saves the locations X&K (Default) where you have muted a signal on XKKA a specific band so the detector will mute any alerts from that location on that band in the future. This menu lets you select which bands will be muted. -13 -
