* 5) Use the number keys, /tone/t , #/s , or delete/ch to edit the name. (See page 23.) To edit only the phone number, skip this step. 6) Press select. The following screen appears. Store Number The cursor flashes indicating that the display is ready for the 8002971023 number to be edited. * 7) Use the number key, redial/p, /tone/t , #/s , or delete/ch to edit the phone number. The phone number cannot exceed 20 digits. (See page 24.) If you don´t want to change the phone number, skip this step. 8) Press select. You hear a confirmation tone, and the following screen appears. The memory storage is complete. For example, if you store a name and number into memory location number 1, the display shows "Memory 1 Stored".
