Hold the Backrest

15. Slide a Pad Tube (50) into the Leg (5). Slide two Large Foam Pads (52) onto the Pad Tube. Attach the other Pad Tube (50) to the Leg Lever (56) in the same manner. 15 52 56 5 50 52 50 16. Insert the rod on the Backrest Frame (32) into the 16 slot in the Seat Carriage (44). Hold the Backrest Frame vertically over the Seat Carriage and 32 slide the rod into the slot, as shown in the inset drawing. Rod Slot 44 32 44 17. Adjust the tension on the upper cable (not shown) as described in UPPER CABLE ADJUSTMENT on page 12. 18. Make sure that all parts have been properly tightened. The use of the remaining parts will be explained in ADJUSTMENTS, beginning on page 13. Before using the resistance system, turn on the console and change the resistance setting as described in CONSOLE OPERATION on page 16. 11

16. Insert the rod on the Backrest Frame (32) into the
slot in the Seat Carriage (44).
Hold the Backrest
Frame vertically over the Seat Carriage and
slide the rod into the slot, as shown in the
inset drawing.
17. Adjust the tension on the upper cable (not shown)
as described in UPPER CABLE ADJUSTMENT
on page 12.
