Menu operations Adjusting image quality using the inline menu Use the inline menu to adjust image quality without obstructing the image during projection. See "Menu group items and functions" (pages 25-31) for information on each setting. Black Level Indicate that you can use the h and g buttons to change the position of the inline menu. White Correction White Peaking Iris Memo • When [Sharpness Type] is set to [Off], the [Sharpness Gain] adjustment cannot be performed. 1. Press the button when the menu is not open. Image menu items appear one at a time in the lower area of the screen. If you do not carry out any operations within 5 seconds, the menu display disappears. Black Level Press the h or g buttons to select an item to set. Sharpness Type Off L ML MH H Press the + or - buttons to set the item to an appropriate setting. Press the RESET button to return the item to its default setting. Sharpness Type Off L ML MH H 2. When you have finished making adjustments, press the ESCAPE button to close the menu display. Memo • Press the button to change between the pages of the [Gamma] menu. 40
