Renaming SMF Files - format

2. From the list of SMF Format 1 files on your computer, select those that you wish to convert to Format 0. 3. Click [EXEC (Open)] to check the format of the selected file. After confirming the selected file is created by SMF, the File Save dialog appears. Specify the location to which the file is saved and the file name, then click the [Save] button to start conversion. After converting, the following message appears. 4. Click [OK] to return to the Main window. Renaming SMF Files With this special batch operation, you can change the names of all SMF files in a selected folder to the corresponding song names contained (as Meta Events) in those SMF files. This function applies only to the files on the computer. 1. Select "Rename SMF Files" in the Tool menu to open the dialog. 2. From the dialog, select a source folder that contains the SMF files to be renamed and select a destination folder to which the renamed SMF files are to be saved. 3. Click [OK] to execute the renaming. The renamed SMF files are saved to the destination folder and a text file that describes the operation results is saved to the same folder. 23

Renaming SMF Files
