ENGLISH About MIDI MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a standard format for data transmission/reception. It enables the transfer of performance data and commands between MIDI devices and personal computers. Using MIDI, you can control a connected MIDI device from the YDP223, or control the YDP-223 from a connected MIDI device or computer. MIDI connectors MIDI THRU OUT IN Mac MIDI PC-1 PC-2 HOST SELECT MIDI [IN]: Receives MIDI data. MIDI [OUT]: Transmits MIDI data. MIDI [THRU]: Transmits data received at the MIDI [IN] connector as it is. MIDI cables Prepare dedicated MIDI cables. [TO HOST] connector Use this connector to connect the YDP-223 to a computer. Mac MIDI PC-1 PC-2 TO HOST HOST SELECT TIP MIDI performance data and commands are transferred in the form of numeric values. About MIDI
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a standard format for
data transmission/reception. It enables the transfer of performance
data and commands between MIDI devices and personal computers.
Using MIDI, you can control a connected MIDI device from the YDP-
223, or control the YDP-223 from a connected MIDI device or com-
puter.
MIDI connectors
MIDI [IN]:
Receives MIDI data.
MIDI [OUT]:
Transmits MIDI data.
MIDI [THRU]:
Transmits data received at the MIDI [IN] connector as it is.
MIDI cables
Prepare dedicated MIDI cables.
[TO HOST] connector
Use this connector to connect the YDP-223 to a computer.
