Choices: YSP-3050, OTHER a)SUPPORT AUDIO YSP-3050 OTHER p [ ]/[ ]:Select [ENTER]:Return Notes • This setting is effective when HDMI CONTROL is set to OFF (see page 85). • The HDMI video signals input at one of the HDMI IN jacks of this unit are always output at the HDMI OUT jack of this unit. • When HDMI CONTROL is set to ON, this setting is ineffective. This unit follows the setting of the HDMI control-compatible TV. AUDIO SELECT (Audio select) Use to select whether to use the signals input at the HDMI IN jack, with respect to the audio signals of the device connected to the HDMI jack. When only two channels of the multi-channel audio signals input at the HDMI IN jack are output, connect this unit and the player via an optical or coaxial digital connection, as well as the HDMI connection, and set AUDIO SELECT to OFF. The audio signals are output from this unit in multi-channel via the connected optical or coaxial digital jacks. Choices: ON, OFF Note • The video signal input at the HDMI jacks is output, regardless of the AUDIO SELECT setting. • The AUDIO SELECT setting is applied only to the sound output from this unit. It is invalid when the sound is output from the device connected to the HDMI OUT jacks. VIDEO INFO (Video information) Use to display the video information of the current input signal. Choices: HDMI SIGNAL, HDMI RES., HDMI ERROR c)VIDEO INFO. . UP-SCALING (HDMI up-scaling) Use this feature to activate or deactivate the HDMI upconversion of the analog video signals input at the composite video and component video jacks so that the up-scaled analog video signals are output at the HDMI OUT jack. HDMI SET (HDMI settings)
Use to change the HDMI audio/video output/input to
match the connected component.
Choices: SUPPORT AUDIO (Support audio),
AUDIO SELECT (Audio select),
VIDEO INFO (Video information),

ASPECT RATIO (HDMI aspect ratio),

Use to select whether to play back HDMI audio signals on
this unit or on another HDMI component connected to the
HDMI OUT jack of this unit.

This setting is effective when HDMI CONTROL is set to OFF
(see page 85).
The HDMI video signals input at one of the HDMI IN jacks of
this unit are always output at the HDMI OUT jack of this unit.
When HDMI CONTROL is set to ON, this setting is ineffective.
This unit follows the setting of the HDMI control-compatible
TV.
AUDIO SELECT (Audio select)
Use to select whether to use the signals input at the HDMI
IN jack, with respect to the audio signals of the device
connected to the HDMI jack.

UP-SCALING (HDMI up-scaling)
Use this feature to activate or deactivate the HDMI up-
conversion of the analog video signals input at the
composite video and component video jacks so that the
up-scaled analog video signals are output at the HDMI
OUT jack. This unit up-scales the analog video signals as
follows:
480i (NTSC)/576i (PAL)
480p (NTSC)/576p (PAL),
1080i or 720p
480p (NTSC)/576p (PAL)
