AUTO STANDBY FUNCTION, Activate the AUTO STANDBY function

AUTO STANDBY FUNCTION The subwoofer automatically places itself in the standby mode if it does not receive an input signal for 7 or 8 minutes. (The power indicator lights in red.) This is called AUTO STANDBY function. When the subwoofer detects a bass signal input of below 200 Hz, it automatically places itself on. (The power indicator lights in green.) Activate the AUTO STANDBY function 1 Press the STANDBY/ON button to set the subwoofer in the standby mode. (The power indicator goes off.) 2 Select the following positions of the AUTO STANDBY switch. - LOW: Normally select this position to activate this function. - HIGH: If this function does not operate with the AUTO STANDBY switch set to LOW, select this position so that the subwoofer detects input signals with a lower level and switches the power on automatically. 3 Press the STANDBY/ON button again to set the subwoofer on. (The power indicator lights in green.) Notes • This function operates only when both the POWER switch and the STANDBY/ON button are set to ON. • The time period before the subwoofer places itself in the standby mode may vary due to a noise received from other appliances. • If the subwoofer switches the power on unexpectedly by receiving noises from other appliances, set the AUTO STANDBY switch to the OFF position to deactivate this function. 11

Notes
This function operates only when both the POWER switch and the STANDBY/ON button are set to ON.
The time period before the subwoofer places itself in the standby mode may vary due to a noise received from other
appliances.
