"string": string of hexadecimally coded octets. Local fax station ID string, for polling Rx. Packet protocol control parameter: Disables the DCE-DTE packet protocol. Enables the DCE-DTE packet protocol. All multicharacter messages from the DCE are sent to the DTE using a simple packet protocol data link. Serial port rate control parameter: Automatic DTE rate detection by the DCE. Serial rate is fixed at the value multiplied by 2400bps. For example, when n=8, the DTE rate is equal to 19200bps (8x2400). Page transfer status: refer to the +FPTS Class 2 command on page 15-6 for parameter descriptions. Receiving quality thresholds parameters: Specifies the percentage of good lines (e.g. with negotiated number of pixels) required for a page considered acceptable. The percentage of good lines would be computed by the equation: 100 x ( - ) / lc: total line count as reported in the +FPS: response. bl: bad line count as reported in the +FPS: response. If the resulting value is less than the value in , the page is unacceptable. Specifies the maximum tolerable number of consecutive bad lines. If this value is exceeded for a given page, the DCE shall consider the page unacceptable. ECM retry value: n=0-255, units of 4 retries. Enable polling command: Disables polling. Enables polling. 15-11
