Opening and closing 28 Keys This key cannot be used to open the locks for the luggage compartment lid or the glove compartment. This can be advantageous for valet parking, for example. The key is not intended for constant use. Central locking system The concept The central locking system engages and releases the locks on the: > doors > luggage compartment lid > fuel filler door. The central locking system is ready for operation whenever the driver's door is closed. The central locking system can be operated The key set 1 Each master key with remote control is powered by an extended-life battery that is charged automatically in the ignition lock as you drive. For this reason, user every master key at least twice a year to keep its battery charged. The key set

Each master key with remote control

The central locking system engages

The central locking system is ready for
operation whenever the driver's door is
closed.
The central locking system can be
operated
>
from outside via the door lock and
using the remote control
>
from inside via the central locking
system button.
If it is operated from inside, the fuel
filler door will not be locked, refer to

.
When the system is actuated from the
