Door Locks A - - CAUTION: - Unlocked doors can be dangerous. Passengers especially children can easily open the doors and fall out. When a door is locked, the inside handle won't open it. unlocked Outsiders caneasily enter through an door when you slowdown or stop yourvehicle. This may not be so obvious: You increase the chance of being thrown outof the vehicle in a crash if the doors aren't locked. Wear safety belts properly, lock your doors, and you will be far better off whenever you drive yourvehicle. -0 0- There are several ways to lock and unlock your vehicle. From the outside, your key or the remote keyless use entry transmitter.This will avoid setting the optional off theft-deterrent alarrn. From inside your vehicle, slide the lock lever down to lock the door.To unlock the door, slide the lock lever up.
