2. Push the latch plateinto the buckle until it clicks. Pull up onthe latch plate to make sure is secure. it When the shoulder belt pulled out all the way, is it will lock.If it does, let it go back allthe way and start again. If the belt not long enough,see "Safety is Belt Extender" atthe end of this section. Make sure the release buttonon the buckle is positioned so you would be able to unbuckle the safety belt quickly if you ever had to. 3. To make the lap part tight, pull down on buckle the end of the belt asyou pull upon the shoulder part. 1-26
