Tire Chains NOTICE: (Continued) If you do find traction devices that will fit, install them on the rear tires. If you have other size tires, use tire chains only where legal and only when you must. Use only SAE Class "S" type chains that are the proper size for your tires. Install them on the rear axle tires and tighten them as tightly possible with as slowly and the ends securely fastened, Drive follow the chain manufacturer's instructions, If you can hear the chains contacting your vehicle, stop and retighten them. the contact continues, If slow down until it stops. Driving fast or too spinning the wheels with chains onwill damage your vehicle. NOTICE: If your vehicle has P235/65R15 size tires, don't use tire chains. They can damage your vehicle because there's not enough clearance. Use another typeof traction device onlyif its manufacturer recommends it for on your use vehicle and tire size combination and road conditions. Follow that manufacturer's instructions. To help avoid damage to your vehicle, drive slowly, readjust or remove the device if it's contacting yourvehicle, and don't spin yourwheels. NOTICE: (Continued) 6-50
