Lighting The light turns off after a period of time unless the ignition switch is put in the ACC/ACCESSORY or ON position. The light turns off automatically after a period of time while the doors are open to prevent the battery from becoming discharged. 6-5 Lighting Features Exterior Lighting Battery Saver If the ignition is turned off and the parking lamps or headlamps have been left on, they will automatically turn off after a period of time.
