1-8 In Brief Head Restraint Adjustment Do not drive until the head restraints for all occupants are installed and adjusted properly. To achieve a comfortable seating position, change the seatback recline angle as little as necessary while keeping the seat and the head restraint height in the proper position. 5. Fold the seatback flat over the seat cushion. To raise the seatback: 1. Raise the seatback and push it rearward. 2. Pull up on the recline lever and lean the seatback to the upright seating position. See Reclining Seatbacks on page 3-4. 3. Push and pull on the seatback to make sure it is locked in place. See Folding Seatback on page 3-6.
