Installing Safety Seats in the Front Seat (Coupe only) and Rear Seating Positions (Coupe and Convertible) For seating positions equipped with a dual locking mode retractor, use the following procedure. If you choose to install a forward-facing child safety seat in the front seating positions, move vehicle seat as far back as possible. 1. 2. Position the child seat in the center of the passenger seating position. Pull down on shoulder belt, then grasp shoulder belt and lap belt together. See Figure 1. Pulling out belt webbing 139
