Air Cleaner Element The air cleaner element should be replaced every 2 years or 30,000 miles (48,000 km), whichever comes first. Under severe driving conditions, it should be replaced every 12 months or 15,000 miles (24,000 km), whichever comes first. BOLTS The air cleaner element is inside the box on the passenger's side of the engine compartment. To replace it: 1. Loosen the four bolts and remove the air cleaner housing cover. 2. Remove the old air cleaner element. Clean the inside of the housing with a damp rag. AIR CLEANER ELEMENT 3. Place the new air cleaner element in the housing. 4. Reinstall the housing cover, tighten the four bolts. Maintenance

BOLTS
The air cleaner element is inside
the box on the passenger's side of
the engine compartment. To
replace it:
1.
Loosen the four bolts and
remove the air cleaner housing
cover.
2.
Remove the old air cleaner
element. Clean the inside of the
housing with a damp rag.
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
3.
Place the new air cleaner
element in the housing.
4.
Reinstall the housing cover,
tighten the four bolts.
