Installing a Child Seat 6. Push and pull the child seat forward and from side to side to verify that it is secure. To install a LATCH-compatible child seat in a third row seat: 1. Unlatch the detachable seat belt anchor latch and retract the seat belt all the way into the ceiling. Place the latch plate and anchor latch in their holding slots (see page 187 ). LOWER ANCHORS BUTTON Driver and Passenger Safety The location of each lower anchor is indicated by a small button above the anchor point. 2. After properly securing the child seat (see pages 46 and 47 ), lift the head restraint, then route the tether strap over the seat-back and through the head restraint legs. CONTINUED 2011 Odyssey 49
