Removing the Spare Tire and Tools (SUV) Removing the Tools (SUV) The equipment you need is located under the driver's side second row seat. To remove the equipment: 1. Locate the tools by lifting the driver's side second row seat up to expose the ﬂoor. See Split Folding Rear Seat on page 1-8 for more information. 2. Remove the strap from the seat rail. Then carefully slide the tool bag out from under the seat rail as shown. 6. Remove the three wheel nuts holding the spare tire onto the tire carrier. 7. Pull off the spare tire and gently lower to the ground. Set it next to the ﬂat tire. Take care not to pinch the seat cables or electrical harness. 5-84
