UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE 87 Hard Top Removal 1. Fold down the sun visors and move them to the side. 2. Unlatch the two hard top latches located at the top of the windshield. 3 CAUTION! When removing the 2 front screws just rearward of the doors, make sure that the nut does not fall into the seat belt retractor. Grasp the nut to prevent this from occurring. 3. Unbolt the six Torx head screws which secure the hard top to the vehicle using a #40 Torx head driver.

Hard Top Removal
1. Fold down the sun visors and move them to the side.
2. Unlatch the two hard top latches located at the top of
the windshield.
3. Unbolt the six Torx
±
head screws which secure the
hard top to the vehicle using a #40 Torx
±
head driver.
CAUTION!
When removing the 2 front screws just rearward of
the doors, make sure that the nut does not fall into
the seat belt retractor. Grasp the nut to prevent this
from occurring.
