26 GENERAL INFORMATION above 120°C (248°F), the coolant temperature warning indicator light starts flashing. If it stays on or starts flashing , stop the engine and check the coolant level in the reserve tank after the engine cools down. NOTICE Do not let the engine continue running when the coolant temperature warning indicator light goes on. Prolonged engine operation will result in severe damage from overheating. Warning Indicator Light : This warning indicator light in the meter instrument has the two warning functions: oil pressure warning, fuel injection system warning. This warning indicator light flashes with each warning symbols: engine oil pressure warning symbol ( )/fuel injection warning sym). If the warning indicator bol ( light flashes with the engine running, have its cause checked by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
