Essential Safety Equipment Seat Belt Systems Center-Rear Position Seat Belt (Second-Row Seats) Before using the center-rear lap/shoulder belt make sure tongue (A) and anchor buckle (B) are fastened. (A) (B) WARNING Using the Seat Belt Guide: Not using the seat belt guide is dangerous. If the seat belt guide is not used, the shoulder portion of the center-rear seat belt could be mistakenly positioned under the head restraint; position that cannot provide adequate protection in a collision and could result in the center-rear passenger being seriously injured or killed. Always make sure the shoulder portion of the centerrear seat belt is on the right side of the left-rear head restraint and guided correctly through the seat belt guide.
