Controls in detail Useful features Reprogramming a single integrated signal transmitter button To program a device using a signal transmitter button previously trained, follow these steps: Press and hold desired signal transmitter button (1, 2 or 3). Do not release the button. The indicator lamp will begin to flash after 20 seconds. Without releasing the integrated signal transmitter button, proceed with programming starting with step 3. Heated steering wheel* (SLK 350, Canada only) The steering wheel heating warms up the leather area of the steering wheel. The lever is on the lower left-hand side of the steering wheel. Switching on Switch on the ignition ( page 35). Turn switch at tip of lever in direction of arrow 1 and release it. Indicator lamp 2 comes on. The steering wheel heating switches on. Switching off Turn switch at tip of lever in direction of arrow 3 and release it. The steering wheel heating switches off.
