Fuses & Circuit Breakers The fuse block is under the instrument panel on the driver's side. It is covered by an access panel. The wiring circuits in your vehicle are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses, circuit breakers, and fusible thermal links in the wiring itself. This greatly reduces the chance of fires caused by electrical problems. To Remove the Access Panel: 1. Remove the screw. 2. Pull down and outon the access panel. ,ook at the silver-colored band inside he fuse. If the band is broken or nelted, replace the fuse. Be sure you eplace a bad fuse with a new one of the :orrect size. To Install the Access Panel: 1. Put the access panel tab into the slot below the fuse block. 2. Install the screw.
