MAINTENANCE Fuel System Caution Fuel can damage painted surfaces and plastic parts. Wipe spilled fuel immediately from the motorcycle using a clean, dry, soft cloth. 5. Loosen hose clamp and disconnect the fuel line (1). 6. Disconnect the tank vent line. 7. To reinstall the fuel tank, reverse the removal steps, routing fuel line under breather hose. 8. Reinstall the fuel tank mounting screws. Torque: 20 ft-lbs (27 Nm) 9. Reinstall the seat. 1 Replace Fuel Filter The fuel filter is attached to the electric fuel pump located inside the fuel tank. Fuel filter condition is associated with engine performance and fuel economy. For fuel filter replacement procedures and special tools required, see the Victory Service Manual or contact an authorized Victory dealer. 101

Fuel System
Fuel can damage painted surfaces and plastic parts. Wipe spilled fuel immediately from the motorcycle
using a clean, dry, soft cloth.
Caution

Loosen hose clamp and disconnect the fuel line (1).

Disconnect the tank vent line.
7.
To reinstall the fuel tank, reverse the removal steps, routing fuel
line under breather hose.
8.
Reinstall the fuel tank mounting screws.
Torque: 20 ft-lbs (27 Nm)
9.
Reinstall the seat.
Replace Fuel Filter
The fuel filter is attached to the electric fuel pump located inside the
