MAINTENANCE Seat Removal and Installation WARNING Always make sure the seats are securely fastened before riding the motorcycle. A loose seat could cause a sudden shift in riding position, causing loss of control. The VEGASt has two separate seats, the operator 's seat and the passenger 's seat. Operator's Seat 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 122 Remove right and left side covers. Remove screw located on right side of seat. Remove screw located on left side of seat. Lift the rear of seat and pull rearward and up to remove. The passenger 's seat mounting screws are located on each side of the seat under chrome covers. It is not necessary to remove the passenger 's seat for regular maintenance. To reinstall the operator 's seat, slide the tongue of the seat into the rubber mount at rear of fuel tank. Push down on the rear of the operator 's seat until screw holes align. Ensure front seat mount is engaged in front rubber mount. Install screws and tighten securely. Seat Removal and Installation
The VEGAS

has two separate seats, the operator’s seat and the passenger’s seat.
Always make sure the seats are securely fastened before riding the motorcycle. A loose seat could
cause a sudden shift in riding position, causing loss of control.
WARNING
Operator’s Seat
1.
Remove right and left side covers.
2.
Remove screw located on right side of seat.
3.
Remove screw located on left side of seat.
4.
Lift the rear of seat and pull rearward and up to remove.
5.
The passenger’s seat mounting screws are located on each
side of the seat under chrome covers.
It is not necessary to
remove the passenger’s seat for regular maintenance.
6.
To reinstall the operator’s seat, slide the tongue of the seat
into the rubber mount at rear of fuel tank.
7.
Push down on the rear of the operator’s seat until screw
holes align.
8.
Ensure front seat mount is engaged in front rubber mount.
9.
Install screws and tighten securely.
10.
Reinstall left and right side covers.
