Maintenance Suspension Lubrication ADULT SECTION To maintain rider comfort and to retard wear of the pivot shafts, the suspension pivot shafts should be lubricated with Polaris Premium All Season Grease several times during the season and again before summer storage each year. The riding characteristics of the snowmobile will be affected by lack of lubrication of these shafts. NOTE: A grease gun kit complete with grease and adaptors is available to lubricate all fittings on Polaris snowmobiles. See page 84. IMPORTANT: Make it a weekly practice to check for loose bolts and nuts on the suspension system. If any loose bolts are found on the rail be sure to clean the threads and apply Loctite 262 before tightening. 79
