Engine Management System FEATURES Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) The MIL (Check Engine Indicator) will illuminate when the ECU detects a problem with engine management system components. If this occurs, see your dealer for service immediately. The MIL will blink in the event that the ECU detects an error with the turbo boost regulation system. This may be caused by damaged or disconnected hoses between the turbocharger and wastegate solenoid pulse valve (located on the engine side of the airbox) or between the wastegate actuator (located under the turbocharger) and wastegate solenoid pulse valve. If the hose has no damage and is not disconnected, see your dealer immediately. CAUTION Serious engine damage may occur if the wastegate reference line is removed or modified. DO NOT remove or modify the wastegate reference line. 33

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)
The MIL (Check Engine Indicator) will illuminate when the ECU
detects a problem with engine management system components. If this
occurs, see your dealer for service immediately.
The MIL will blink in the event that the ECU detects an error with the
turbo boost regulation system. This may be caused by damaged or
disconnected hoses between the turbocharger and wastegate solenoid
pulse valve (located on the engine side of the airbox) or between the
wastegate actuator (located under the turbocharger) and wastegate
solenoid pulse valve. If the hose has no damage and is not
disconnected, see your dealer immediately.
CAUTION
Serious engine damage may occur if the wastegate reference line
is removed or modified. DO NOT remove or modify the
wastegate reference line.
