This vehicle is equipped with an Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), which is designed to reduce the risk of a frozen or stuck throttle. If the throttle cable should stick in an open position when the operator releases the throttle pedal, the engine will stop and power to the rear wheels will cease. The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) stops the engine in the event of a throttle system malfunction. Modifications to the electronic throttle control could result in failure to perform as designed, which could result in an accident. Do not attempt to modify the ETC system or replace it with any after market throttle mechanism. Always ensure that the throttle cable is installed and properly routed to the throttle control. 34
