If your extension is not assigned with this category and you try to make a call, you will not receive a dial tone. Malicious Call Tracing If you are being disturbed by bothersome or malicious external incoming calls, it is possible to request number tracing from the network provider. Tracing can be invoked during or after an ongoing conversation. The external line can be held for a limited period of time. Ordering Call Tracing To order call tracing during an ongoing conversation, do the following: 1. Press R. Wait for a dial tone. 2. Press *39#.
