Manual Message Waiting (MMW) The Manual Message Waiting (MMW) feature enables you to send and receive message waiting signals when the line is busy • MMW allows you to send a message waiting signal to an extension that does not answer when you call (if this feature is allowed, this is set by the system administrator). • MMW allows you to receive a message waiting signal from someone who has tried to contact you. Answering a Manual Message Waiting If there is a message waiting for you, you will hear a special dial tone, and the following message is displayed: New voice mail message(s). View now? To answer a message waiting, do the following: 1. Press Yes to open the mailbox (or No to check the message later). The icon is displayed along with the following message: You have a new voice mail message. Call to listen to the message. 2. Press Call. A call is initiated to the extension that requested the MMW. The Manual Message Waiting (MMW) feature enables you to send and

MMW allows you to receive a message waiting signal from
someone who has tried to contact you.

Answering a Manual Message Waiting
If there is a message waiting for you, you will hear a special dial tone,
and the following message is displayed:

View now?
To answer a message waiting, do the following:

Press
