Fixed Mobile Convergence Reachable Wherever and Whenever you want For customers and suppliers, always being reachable can be a blessing. But once business partners have someone's mobile number, that person's wellearned holiday or weekend may well be over. If Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is installed, the user decides when and where he wishes to be reached. Aastra Mobile Client & Controller When Aastra Mobile Client (AMC) is installed on a mobile phone, and an Aastra Mobile Client Controller (AMC Controller) connected to OpenCom 1000, the mobile phone works like an OpenCom 1000 terminal. This means that internal subscribers are easily reachable via their 1- to 5-digit call number. The subscriber makes outgoing calls with the AMC via the company's landline number and the mobile phone number remains "hidden". Incoming calls are routed to both desktop and mobile phone. No need to think about where the call partner might be or which number has to be dialled to reach him - as you only need one call number (One Number Concept). With the One Number Concept, there is only one voice box, that answers unanswered calls and that needs to be retrieved. The line key on the busy lamp field of the system and Aastra SIP phones indicates "busy", even if a conversation is being held with AMC on the mobile phone. Specific Menu for Each Mobile Phone With the AMC the mobile phone is provided with an additional menu with a "look and feel" that matches the mobile in question. A Nokia mobile phone has a Nokia menu, and blackberry users use the new menu in the normal blackberry manner; the AMC is also available for iPhones. Features such as enquiry calls, call forwarding and three-party con ference are easy to use. Other Benefits With the TAKE feature, the subscriber can continue on his desktop any calls originally set up on the move, without any interruption; likewise he can transfer calls that were initiated in the office to his mobile phone and then continue the call on the move. If you do not wish to be disturbed, just activate the 'do not disturb' function on AMC. Only people who have your mobile phone number will be able to reach you. 13

Reachable Wherever
and Whenever you want
For customers and suppliers, always
being reachable can be a blessing. But
once business partners have someone's
mobile number, that person's well-
earned holiday or weekend may well be
over.
If Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is
installed, the user decides when and

The line key on the busy lamp field of

cates "busy", even if a conversation is
being held with AMC on the mobile
phone.

Mobile Phone
With the AMC the mobile phone is pro-
vided with an additional menu with a
"look and feel" that matches the mobile
in question. A Nokia mobile phone has
a Nokia menu, and blackberry users use
the new menu in the normal blackberry
manner; the AMC is also available for
iPhones. Features such as enquiry calls,

With the TAKE feature, the subscriber
can continue on his desktop any calls
originally set up on the move, without

fer calls that were initiated in the office
to his mobile phone and then continue
the call on the move.
If you do not wish to be disturbed, just
