Removing the Thermal Module 0 1. Refer to Removing the Mainboard. 2. Disconnect the thermal module fan cable from the mainboard. Figure 3-60. Fan Cable 3. Loosen the five (5) spring-loaded captive screws securing the thermal module. Follow the screw sequence indicated on the image below. Figure 3-61. Thermal Module Screws Table 3-16.
