Replacing the CPU 0 1. Place the CPU into the socket. Figure 3-109. CPU 2. Make sure the gold arrow on the corner of the CPU is aligned with the beveled corner of the socket. The CPU will easily fit into the socket if you oriented it properly. Figure 3-110. CPU 3-70 Machine Maintenance
