7 Connections / Connecting to the Internet This section teaches you how to use GPRS wireless network connection. GPRS wireless networking is a convenient function for working at home or while traveling. You can use the Pocket PC to browse websites and read or send E-mails, SMS or MSN messages. To start using GPRS service, please: 1. Contact your service provider for the data plan and apply for it. 2. Install the SIM card with the GPRS plan in SIM1 slot 3. Activate Phone1. Note SIM2 slot allows only the voice services such as phone call and SMS provided by the SIM card you install in it; for use of data transmission service such as GPRS, 3G or EDGE, please insert the compatible SIM card in SIM1 slot. Connection Wizard Generally, you will only need to install the SIM card to your Pocket PC to simultaneously use the mobile phone functions. The system will automatically add the connection items for this SIM card. To verify: Tap > Settings > Connections tab > Connections > "Manage existing connections," the list will show the newly added network name. If the system is unable to successfully add the connection to your SIM card, it is possible to use Connection Wizard. Connections 7-1
