MSATA SSD Module Removal 0 The following procedure is to remove the M Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) (Solid State Drive (SSD)). Prerequisite: Upper Cover Removal 1. Locate module (A) on lower cover. 2. Remove screw (B) from module. 3. Disconnect module (A) from mainboard connector (C). A B C Figure 3-23. mSATA SSD Module 4. Remove module. MSATA SSD Module Installation 1. Align and install module (A) to lower cover. 2. Connect module to mainboard connector (C) (not shown). 3. Install and secure screw (B) to module. 4.
