Mainboard Installation 0 1. Align mainboard to lower cover. 2. Connect DC-IN cable (N) to mainboard connector (P) (Figure 3-29). 3. Connect speakers cable (Q) to mainboard connector (R) (not shown) as shown in Figure 3-30. 4. Connect HDD module cable (S) to mainboard connector (T) (Figure 3-31) ! CAUTION: Forced installation may damage left side connectors. Use caution when installing mainboard. 5. Install board by sliding connectors at left side of board at a slight angle into slots on left side of lower cover as shown in Figure 3-32. Figure 3-32. Mainboard 6. Press on heatsink (L) to install into tabs (M) on lower cover as shown in (Figure 3-28). 7. Install fan module (C) on lower cover (Figure 3-27). 8. Connect USB module cable (D) to mainboard connector (E) (Figure 3-27). 9. Connect LVDS cable (G) to mainboard connector (H) (Figure 3-27). 10. Secure adhesive tape (F) on LVDS cable connector (Figure 3-27). 11. Install and secure following screws (Figure 3-27): Screw (A) to mainboard Three (3) screws (B) to fan module (C) Screw (J) to fan module (K) 12. Install WLAN module. 13.
