Touchpad Button Assembly Removal 0 Prerequisite: Upper Cover Removal 1. Locate assembly (A) on upper cover. 2. Remove adhesive tape (B) from finger print cable (C). 3. Remove three (3) screws (D) from touchpad button frame. 4. Disconnect touchpad module cable (E) from touchpad connector (F). E F C B A G G D Figure 3-42. Fingerprint Module 5. Remove assembly (A) from upper cover. Touchpad Button Assembly Installation 0 1. Install and align assembly (A) with pins (G) to upper cover. 2. Connect touchpad module cable (E) to touchpad module connector (F). 3. Install and secure three (3) screws (D) to touchpad button frame. 4.
