Mainboard Removal 0 Prerequisite: WLAN Module Removal MSATA SSD Module Removal 1. Remove following screws (Figure 3-27): Screw (A) from mainboard Three (3) screws (B) from fan module (C) Screw (J) from fan module (K) 2. Remove adhesive tape (F) on LVDS cable connector (Figure 3-27). 3. Disconnect LVDS cable (G) from mainboard connector (H) (Figure 3-27). 4. Disconnect USB module cable (D) from mainboard connector (E) (Figure 3-27). F G H J K C A B E D Figure 3-27. Mainboard ! CAUTION: FAN module (C) cable is attached to the mainboard. Use caution when separating fan module from lower cover. 5. Separate fan module (C) from lower cover (Figure 3-27). 6.
