Monitoring System Status - Critical-The recipient will receive notification about Critical events only. Critical events indicate changes that do impact the system, such as a failover or when a drive goes bad. 8 Click OK. Storage Manager Pro will use the new information in the recipient's properties to notify the recipient the next time the specified event severity (Informational, Warning, or Critical) occurs. Deleting Notification Recipients To delete a recipient from Event Notification: 1 From the Dashboard, click Event Notification. The Event Notification dialog box appears. 2 Select the tab, Local or Global, where the recipient is listed. 3 Select the name of the person you want to remove from the list of Recipients. 4 Click Delete. The recipient's name is removed from the list and will no longer receive Event Notification e-mails or pages. Sending a Test E-mail Notification Once you set up Event Notification, you may want to send a test e-mail to be sure the recipient's e-mail address is valid and working properly. To send a test e-mail: 1 From the Dashboard, click Event Notification.
