If you want to connect to a 5-pin USB terminal available on your motherboard, you can use the adapter cable (shown below left). Pin 1 (Red Wire) USB 5-pin Connector USB Terminal on Motherboard Power Read your motherboard's documentation to locate the USB terminal and identify the pin that provides power, and then connect that to Pin 1 (shown above right) on the USB 5-pin connector. The Table below provides detailed descriptions of the five wires on the cable converter.
