Chapter 8: Monitoring Your Storage Space ● 100 Entering the SMTP Server Settings The first time you are opening the Email Notification Manager, the SMTP Server Settings window opens automatically. In the SMTP Server Settings window: 1 Enter the address of your SMTP server. 2 Enter the "From" address to appear in email notifications. If email recipients will be replying to email notifications, be sure that the "From" address belongs to a system that is actively monitored. 3 Click OK to save the settings. 4 To set up email notifications, continue with Adding an Email Recipient. Adding an Email Recipient To add an email recipient to the Email List: 1 Open the Email Notification Manager. (See page 99.) 2 In the tool bar, click Add email recipient. 3 In the Add Email Recipient window (shown in the next Step), enter the recipient's name and email address. 4 In the Event Type drop-down menu, select an event level. (For more information on event levels, see page 92.) 5 Click Add. 6 Repeat Steps 3 to 5 to add more email recipients.

Entering the SMTP Server Settings
The first time you are opening the Email Notification Manager, the SMTP Server Settings
window opens automatically.
In the SMTP Server Settings window:

Enter the address of your SMTP server.

Enter the “From” address to appear in email notifications.
If email recipients will be replying to email notifications, be sure that the “From” address
belongs to a system that is actively monitored.

To add an email recipient to the Email List:

Add email recipient

and email address.
