Appendix Setting Up an Aperture System A A Setting up the hardware for your system can be as simple as connecting your camera or card reader to your computer. You can also set up a system that uses external hard disks and color-calibrated displays. This appendix provides instructions for setting up your computer system to use Aperture. It provides instructions for setting up a basic system, explains optional equipment that you might consider to enhance your system, and explains how to set up additional displays.
