Each time you start a program that requires an Internet connection, the ARCHOS will attempt to make a connection to the Internet. • For these procedures to work, you need to be in a WiFi/3G zone that will allow you to connect to it. CONNECTING TO THE WIFI/3G
The first time you start the ARCHOS, the installation wizard will help you config

ure your WiFi connection. Each time you start a program that requires an Internet
connection, the ARCHOS will attempt to make a connection to the Internet.
For these procedures to work, you need to be in a WiFi/3G zone that will allow
you to connect to it.
Certain applications use a specific network (for example: UPnP
streaming is specific to the WiFi, sending SMS messages only works via the 3G/2G).
HOW TO IMPROVE WIFI/3G RECEPTION
In order to improve your device’s WiFi/3G reception, avoid placing your fingers in
front of the WiFi/3G antenna area (zone in red on the following images):

5.1 WIFI CONNECTION PROCEDURE
